Top 12 Dirtiest Fruits and Vegetables!

Okay, so we all know how expensive organic fruits and veggies are right? I certainly know I don‘t purchase all my produce organic because of the hefty price tag that comes with the organic label. I always wondered to myself which I “need” to purchase organic vs. “only if it is on sale", and if you did too here is our answer.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) performed a study on what are the 12 dirtiest fruits and veggies out there and here are their findings. They found the pesticide levels on these 12 items were strikingly high! Even if your not into spending the extra cash, you may want to spare a few extra bucks and be open to buying these items organic!

*On the other hand they also found the top 12 cleanest fruits and veggies.

*A rule that I try to follow when purchasing produce is: if there is an outer layer that you don't eat (such as a banana or a pinapple) it doesn't have to be organic.

What fruits and vegetable do you HAVE to buy organic and why?
